Shipping & Delivery

At The Aroidarium, we take great care to ensure every order is packed thoughtfully and shipped with plant health and safety in mind. As a small, specialist business, our shipping schedule is designed to balance careful handling with reliable delivery.

SECTION 1 - SHIPPING COSTS                                                                                   

Shipping costs are calculated based on order size and selected delivery service at checkout.

We offer free UK shipping on all orders over £80

Full delivery options and prices will be shown before payment.

SECTION 2 - DISPATCH TIMES                                                                                           

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days.

To ensure live plants arrive safely and avoid delays over the weekends, we operate the following dispatch schedule:

  • Orders containing live plants are dispatched Tuesday to Thursday only
  • Orders not containing plants may also be dispatched on Fridays

Orders placed Friday to Sunday are prepared on Monday, with plant orders dispatched from Tuesday onwards. (If we are able to fit in any plant order shipments on Monday, we will send you a notification stating dispatch)

Priority shipping orders are prioritised for dispatch and will usually be sent the next working day, excluding Fridays for plant orders.

Please note that dispatch times may be longer during busy periods or when weather conditions are unsuitable for shipping. We do not ship orders on UK bank holidays.

SECTION 3 - DELIVERY TIMES                                                                                     

Most UK mainland orders arrive within 2-4 working days from dispatch, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Non-UK mainland deliveries may take up to 5 working days.

Delivery times are estimates provided by courier services and are not guaranteed.

Full delivery details and tracking information will be included in your order confirmation email.

SECTION 4 - LIVE PLANTS & WEATHER CONDITIONS                                               

Live plants are sensitive to temperature and transit conditions. To protect plant health, we may delay dispatch during periods of extreme heat, cold, or adverse weather.

Any such delays will not affect your eligibility under our Live Arrival Guarantee.

SECTION 5 - RESPONSIBILITY & RISK                                                                       

Once an order has been dispatched and handed to the courier, delivery times and handling are outside of our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

SECTION 6 - LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE                                                                     

Live plants are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee, which applies to plants that arrive damaged or in poor condition due to transit. This guarantee is separate from our Returns Policy.
